Christ Child Society of Washington DC Commitment Statement

The Washington DC Chapter of the Christ Child Society is committed to being a diverse, inclusive and equitable organization dedicated to meeting the material, educational and emotional needs of children and families, regardless of race, color, gender, or beliefs. Our dedication to diversity, equity and inclusion is deeply rooted in the charism of our founder, Mary Virginia Merrick, who saw the Christ Child in every person. This commitment extends to children and families as well as to our members, staff, volunteers, community partners, and the organization as a whole. 

We continue our mission-driven volunteer and professional work through the strength of a diverse and inclusive membership, board of directors, workforce, volunteers, and staff who are all dedicated to the same vision and purpose.
